This is something I’ve always wondered about. Why would God even bother creating mankind when He already experienced the defiance of Lucifer and other rebellious angels? The Bible says that God is omniscient (all-knowing). If God is truly ‘omniscient’, then shouldn’t He have learned His lesson from His previous creation? If angels are superior to mere mortal men, then what would have made God think that an inferior creation like human beings wouldn’t do the exact same thing? He could have saved the trouble and avoided the problems and turmoil that mankind would inflict upon His precious earth over the years.
There is a difference between being without sin and being perfect. God may be without sin, but He is far from being perfect. Otherwise His creations (angels and humans) would be perfect, without any flaws whatsoever.

Yes, god seems like he cant get his *explicit* straight.
That is a Christian concept! Humanity was created in the image of G-d, which means we have the ability to reason and discern; however, G-d has no physical form or image. In Judaism angel’s cannot defy G-d. Satan and Lucifer are two different beings. Satan is an angel and Lucifer was a Babylonian king. “Lucifer” (light-bearer)is a generic title referring to the morning star (Venus). As such, it has been used throughout history to refer to Satan, Christ, and others. With this in mind, Isaiah 14:12 starts out “How art thou fallen from heaven, O Lucifer, son of the morning!”. Taken as a separate verse, this appears to refer to the battle of angels – however, the PASSAGE starts at Isaiah 12:4 “Thou shalt take up this proverb against the king of Babylon” and towards the end is Isaiah 14:22 “For I will rise up against them saith the Lord of hosts, and cut of from Babylon the name, and remnant, and son, and nephew, Saith the Lord.” Thus Lucifer in the Old Testament refers to some unnamed Babylonian king. The Jewish belief in angels goes as far back as the Book of Genesis, where we read about angels calling out to Abraham at the binding of Isaac, angels appearing in Jacob’s dream, Jacob fighting with an angel, and many more accounts of angelic activity.1 Angels are then mentioned numerous times throughout the other books of the Torah, Prophets, and Scriptures.
According to Jewish tradition, an angel is a spiritual being and does not have any physical characteristics. The angelic descriptions provided by the prophets – such as wings, arms etc. – are anthropomorphic, referring to their spiritual abilities and tasks.
Hes actually a Jealous God. Nobody is perfect. Not even God.
Why would God create all the other life forms too if they definitely stand no chance of worshiping anything at all?
Well Will in the very beginning humans were created as carbon copies of God himself and were created perfect. However a variable called freewill and temptation was thrown in there, and Eve convinced Adam to eat from the apple tree forever under a rule that said if the fruit of this tree is picked and eaten humans will loose eternal life and some of gods protection. He did this to see if his creation was perfect and well it wasn’t.
Now though check this out new born babies are in effect a blank clean slate and could be molded in to the perfect human but thanks to society and outside influence we end up skewed, and have to make a choice, most people choose not to be perfect at some point in life.
A good movie for you to watch that proves this is the Devils Advocate it is a great movie.
The only angel that is not perfect is Gabriel. Lucifer chose his version of heaven and we know it as hell, You have to remember heaven/hell God/the Devil are made up figures created by man as is the Bible, if there is good there must be bad, every action has an equal and opposite reaction.
Well defiance is normal if I tell you can’t do something what are you going to do come hell or high water?
Locks only keep an honest person honest!
Lucifer’s complaint was with Jesus who, before coming to earth, was commander of all the angels. He had the form of an angel and was called Michael the Archangel. Being God, He was worthy of worship, Lucifer was not. Because Lucifer had insinuated to the angels that Michael was unfairly exalted and he(Lucifer) should also receive worship, the Father and the Son decided that Michael would be directly responsible for the creation of a new planet(Earth). This was designed to create reverence for the One humble enough to assume the form of a lowly angel. After this, Lucifer resigned his post as covering cherub in protest and sought to overthrow God’s government.
God assembled the angelic host to take measures to avert the threatened evil. It was decided in heaven’s council for angels to visit Eden and warn Adam that he was in danger from the foe. Two angels sped on their way to visit our first parents. They gave them the sad history of Satan’s rebellion and fall. They then distinctly informed them that the tree of knowledge was placed in the garden to be a pledge of their obedience and love to God; that the high and happy estate of the holy angels was to be retained upon condition of obedience; that they were similarly situated; that they could obey the law of God and be inexpressibly happy, or disobey and lose their high estate and be plunged into hopeless despair.
They told Adam and Eve that God would not compel them to obey–that He had not removed from them power to go contrary to His will; that they were moral agents, free to obey or disobey. There was but one prohibition that God had seen fit to lay upon them as yet. If they should transgress the will of God they would surely die. They told Adam and Eve that the most exalted angel, next in order to Christ, refused obedience to the law of God which He had ordained to govern heavenly beings; that this rebellion had caused war in heaven, which resulted in the rebellious being expelled therefrom, and every angel was driven out of heaven who had united with him in questioning the authority of the great Jehovah; and that this fallen foe was now an enemy to all that concerned the interest of God and His dear Son.
They told them that Satan purposed to do them harm, and it was necessary for them to be guarded, for they might come in contact with the fallen foe; but he could not harm them while they yielded obedience to God’s command, for, if necessary, every angel from heaven would come to their help rather than that he should in any way do them harm. But if they disobeyed the command of God, then Satan would have power to ever annoy, perplex, and trouble them. If they remained steadfast against the first insinuations of Satan, they were as secure as the heavenly angels. But if they yielded to the tempter, He who spared not the exalted angels would not spare them. They must suffer the penalty of their transgression, for the law of God was as sacred as Himself, and He required implicit obedience from all in heaven and on earth.
Adam and Eve assured the angels that they should never transgress the express command of God, for it was their highest pleasure to do His will. The angels united with Adam and Eve in holy strains of harmonious music, and as their songs pealed forth from blissful Eden, Satan heard the sound of their strains of joyful adoration to the Father and Son. And as Satan heard it his envy, hatred, and malignity increased, and he expressed his anxiety to his followers to incite them (Adam and Eve) to disobedience and at once bring down the wrath of God upon them and change their songs of praise to hatred and curses to their Maker.
Now that you understand that, let’s answer your question.
God created the beings with the ability to disobey Him. If He refused to create potentially disobedient beings, no one created would actually have that ability since they would all be preselected for compliance. So for God to not create beings with true free will, he would not be able to create any beings that could truly love and worship Him.
One more thing.
The origin of sin is a mystery. We don’t know how a perfect being would develop pride and nurture it until it became open rebellion. The key thing to remember is that God is not responsible for it. It is an anomaly. And in the history of eternity, it will be a tiny little blip that served as a vaccination from sin forever more.
God got really drunk one night, and he loses his omniscience when he’s drunk.
